After working at the African Youth Camp this past week at UGA, I am so excited to go and jump into a completely different culture. Those kids were here long enough to be American in many ways, but their African traits were what made there so unique. My favorite quote of the week ( and there were tons ) was "everone at school says we have drive-by blowdarts in Africa." haha, anyways I learned lots, there were lots of touching moments, and the camp reinforces all of the things I am looking forward to in Africa.
